How was living in Osaka in reality to what you had imagined before you arrived?

It was just like imagined, a fast paced city, a lot of people and great nature spots to go on the weekends. But the best part is that everything is easily accessible by public transport.

How would you describe your co-workers?

My co-workers are friendly and dedicated to their work. If you have a problem just ask them! They will do the best to help you. Everyone was really patient with me at the beginning and I was able to progress a lot thanks to them.

When I am not at work, I am ...

looking for new desserts to try! Japan has a lot of season-limited flavors or products and I enjoy hunting them. I also enjoy planning my next holidays during my time off.

What is the most important thing that working at the firm has taught you about yourself?

Self-discipline and planning. Although we are working as a team every personal decisions have an impact on the team, that's why we have to be careful and make sure to double check everything we do.

Riding on the Shinkansen which is so quiet and peaceful, playing the claw machines in the game arcades which I can spend all day long at and finally being able see the cherry blossoms in person.

We get to work with people from different backgrounds which means adapt ourselves and learn about each other's culture.

I am looking forward to experience

more travel!! Also, the firm has a lot of social events but with the ongoing pandemic it has been difficult to fully enjoy them, I am looking forward to participate once the pandemic is over.

What was the most pleasant surprise you experienced at work?

I was surprised by the adaptability of the firm. For example, the firm made it possible to work from home during the pandemic and provided precious information regarding vaccination in Japan. This was really useful, especially if you don't speak Japanese.

What would you say makes someone successful at the Firm; and more specifically, what factors have made you successful at Firm?

I think someone who truly desire to learn is the key. It will take a lot of time to assimilate everything and mistakes will be made, but if you still have the motivation to learn you will get through anything!
